NEC Philippines and Alliance ends year with South Roadshow for Partners

NEC together with Alliance Software held its last enablement roadshow for Cebu last October 21 at the Best Western Lex Hotel and in Davao last October 23 at The Pinnacle Hotel and Suites. The objective of the roadshow is to empower partners on retail solutions. Both legs covered sales and technical training on NEC POS Terminals and Alliance WebPOS enabling channel partners on product positioning, features and advantages of the said solutions.

Both events were kicked-off by Reiko Yamashita, Business Development Manager of Retail Business Service Centre NEC Malaysia. Sales Training was headed by Leigh Opis, Channel Executive for NEC Philippines. Opis, discussed the NEC advantage against competitors and how to evaluate client requirements in order to determine the correct solution proposal. Technical training by Japee Canonizado, Technical Manager of NEC Philippines covered Parts and Functions familiarization to equip partners and resellers with proper assembly and basic troubleshooting. Alliance WebPOS Sales and Technical training was headed by Te Jay Luna, Asst. Vice-President for AEES. Luna also introduced the Alliance-NEC partnership for retail solutions.

As the country sees a huge growth of SMEs, accounting for more than 80% of businesses registered not only in Metro Manila but also in key regions such as Cebu and Davao. NEC and Alliance are positive about Partner resellers seeing this opportunity in retail solutions, not only for their business but also in aide of economic growth.
