The event was held last April 1 at SMX Aura in Taguig City by PLDT Smart SME Nation and PayMaya. This event was participated by 50+ merchants from different brands around the metro. It was also the launch of Paymaya - for cashless shopping via card-preferred transactions.
During the two (2) day event, all merchants were given tablets with pre-installed Smart Store Manager to simulate actual bazaar operation to showcase its flexibility to handle any type of retail industry. Smart Store manager can work for a kiosk, food truck, fast food, fine dining and service operation. The target market is to empower micro SMEs as this will be their first step in automating their business.
